Is your business just like all the rest?

It’s a provocative question. Apologies. I expect you answered “No, it’s not!”

Why then do people shoehorn their businesses into their CRM? It should be the other way round – make the CRM do what you business needs.

Here at CRM.direct, we build the exact CRM you need. We start with the source code and a number of standard modules and then create any modules that are needed to match your businesses. Most off the shelf CRMs will come with a range of modules; Accounts, Contacts, Leads, etc. plus a few more for the selling process such as Prospects, Leads & Opportunities.

In our experience, every business has a central focus that needs extra information to be stored in their record and that has its own behaviours.

For instance, we serve the horse-racing world in a couple of capacities. The Professional Jockeys Association has a central focus of, well you guessed, Jockeys. Important information from jockeys is weight, flat/jump, licensing info and very much more. The behaviours include licence expiry, injuries, race wins and more.

Even within the same industry, the focus of a given organisation will differ. We manage all amateur racing in the UK for the Point-to-Point Authority so their focus is around race meetings, or Hunts, Courses, race-day Officials, membership secretaries. Being a delegated authority within the sport, they are answerable to the British Horseracing Authority which is the governing body for all horseracing in the UK. They need to submit regulatory reports in a timely manner.

Of course, they all interact with external people and businesses quite separately from the sport. In these cases, the standard Accounts and Contacts come into play.

What is your focus?

At CRM.direct, we take the time to sit down with you to discover your central modules and what you need them to do.
